Privacy Policy and Terms of Use

Plain English, short version: we use what you send us to help you, we never sell it, and we only share it with a partner if you ask us to.

Privacy policy

What we collect

What we don't collect: the numbers you type into our calculators and budget builder stay in your browser. They aren't sent to us or stored. We don't ask for your Social Security number, account numbers or credit card numbers, and you should never send them to us.

How we use it

Who we share it with

Cookies and tracking

We don't use advertising trackers or analytics cookies on this site. Our assessment uses your browser's session storage to remember, for that visit only, that you've already submitted it. If we ever add analytics or advertising tools, we'll update this page first.

How long we keep it

We keep assessment submissions and emails only as long as we need them to help you, and no longer than 24 months, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.

Your choices and rights

Wherever you live, you can email info@debtpivot.com to ask what information we have about you, to correct it, or to delete it. We'll respond within 30 days. California residents also have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, and we honor those requests the same way.

Children

This site is for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Security

The site uses HTTPS encryption. No method of sending or storing data is perfectly secure, which is one more reason never to send sensitive account numbers by form or email.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the effective date at the top of this page.
